New To Unity? Click here to know more about us.   Unity is an inter-denominational church based on the practical teachings of Jesus Christ - often referred to as Positive, Practical Christianity. Our main focus is to be a light where we are and articulate a positive vision for the world. We are created in the image and likeness of God, here to live life, and live it more abundantly. Everything we do is based upon the commandment of love which is expressed as two wonderful ideas: 1. To love God with your whole heart, mind, soul, and strength 2. To love others as you love yourself We believe in the power of prayer to expand and transform our hearts and minds and to cultivate our relationship with God. We practice connecting with the Divine through affirmative prayer and silent meditation. This kind of prayer frees us from limitation by acknowledging that the presence of God dwells within us (which is also called the Christ within), and allows us to access the divine qualities that lead to a happier, healthier, and more productive life.
