WHAT WE BELIEVE OUR CORE VALUES We exist to Glorify God and Make Disciples who Live on Mission 1. EVERYTHING IS BIBLICALLY BASED AND PRAYED OVER 2 TIMOTHY 3:16 As a church we seek to "Live Biblically." We follow and obey the Word of God. We are devoted to prayer. Everything we do is prayed over in persistent prayer.   2. EVERY PERSON MATTERS TO GOD LUKE 19:10 We believe that all people have value to God. Rich, poor, young, old and regardless of color or nationality, every person matters to God. If they matter to God, they matter to us.   3. EXCELLENCE MATTERS TO GOD 1 CORINTHIANS 10:31 We exist to Glorify God in all we do. Whatever we do should be for the Glory of God. Therefore, we strive for excellence (not perfection) in the eyes of God in order to please him.   EVERY PERSON HAS A PLACE ROMANS 12:4-8 We believe every person has spiritual gifts. We encourage everyone to volunteer and serve. God desires for us to do more than sit and soak. Every person has a place to plug in and be involved.   ENGAGE THE WORLD ACTS 1:8 We are a "great commission church." We are to witness in our own Jerusalem and also to the ends of the earth. We focus on local missions, North Amercian missions and International missions.   LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE.

Trinity Bible Church of Greer
Our Identity Trinity is not a building–it’s people. Trinity consists of forgiven sinners who gather to worship the Christ who died in our place. Trinity is a non-denominational, Bible-based, Christ-centered, Gospel-proclaiming ministry that seeks to exalt the Lordship of Jesus Christ in all that we do. By God’s grace we strive for worship that is intentional, reverent, and joyful; fellowship that is encouraging, meaningful, and loving; teaching that is biblical, practical, and applicable. This is in response to our Savior, who is gracious, merciful, and wonderful! Our Mission Trinity’s mission is proclaiming the Gospel—the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Our focus is… Exalting the Lord Jesus Christ. Edifying those who know Christ. Evangelizing those who need Christ Our Core Believing that the Bible is God’s inspired Word and that it is unchanging, eternal, and without error, we hold to: The creation of the world by the direct act of God, including the creation of man in God’s image; The inspiration of the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation; The revelation of the Godhead through the Persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; The deity of the Lord Jesus Christ; The virgin birth, sinless life, vicarious death, bodily resurrection, and ascension into heaven of the Lord Jesus Christ; The fallen, sinful nature of man and his inability to save himself through his own good works; The gift of salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone as the sinner repents of his sin, believes the Gospel, and is placed in the church—the body of Christ. The existence of two literal, eternal dwelling places: heaven for those who are forgiven as they trust in Christ and hell for those who are not; The permanent indwelling of the person of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer for illumination of the Scriptures, guidance, power, filling, and obedient living; The institution of the local church for corporate worship, Gospel proclamation, biblical instruction, edification, prayer, fellowship, and evangelism; including the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Table; led by men who serve as elders and deacons; The imminent, pre-tribulation rapture of the church, followed by the return of Christ to the earth to reign for 1,000 years, followed by the Great White Throne Judgment of all unbelievers and the creation of a new heaven and a new earth.

SUMMARY We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, infallible, and Holy Word of God. We believe that it was breathed out by God and is helpful so that every Christian might know God and know how to live. We believe in one God in three Persons Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the same in substance, equal in power and glory. God is a Spirit who is infinite, eternal, and unchangeable in his being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, and truth. We believe that Jesus Christ is the incarnate Son of God, fully divine and fully human. Christ was sent to be the Redeemer of God’s elect by dying in their place for their sins and being raised again from the dead. He was raised bodily and ascended to heaven bodily where he sits at the Father’s right hand as Lord. We believe all people are by nature dead in their sins, under the wrath of God, and without hope of salvation except for God’s love and mercy. We believe that man’s chief end is to glorify God and enjoy him forever. All people will glorify God and all Christians will enjoy him, both in this life and the next, in their union with him and worship of him according to the Scriptures. We believe that the Church is God’s means of providing communion among Christians, so that they might hold each other accountable and bear one another’s burdens. The Church is the only ordinary means of growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, who is the Head of the Church. WESTMINSTER STANDARDS Our congregation holds to the Westminster Standards as the primary summary of faith and practice taught in Scripture . You can find the Westminster Standards and other resources from our denomination here. WHAT IS THE ARP? The Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church has a long and faithful heritage, its roots deep in Scottish Presbyterianism. The name comes from two congregations originating in Scotland, the Seceders (Associate) and the Covenanters (Reformed). As pressure increased from the established church, both congregations were formed out of a desire to remain faithful to the doctrines of faith, practice, and church government put forward in Scripture. Many churches came under persecution for their efforts. After leaving Scotland and moving to America, the two congregations found they held more in common than in difference. In 1782 in Philadelphia they merged to create what is now known as the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. You can find a more detailed history on our denomination’s website.

Five Forks Baptist Church
OUR VISION To see God’s name become great among all nations. “My name will be great among the nations, from the rising to the setting of the sun… says the LORD Almighty.” At Five Forks Baptist, all that we do is intended to support our vision of making God’s name great beginning in Simpsonville and extending to our state, our nation and to the world.   OUR MISSION 1. SERVING GOD We value equipping and mobilizing every person to use their spiritual gifts for the building up of the body of Christ. 2. ENGAGING THE COMMUNITY We value loving a lost and broken world and are committed to share His gospel of grace with all people to advance His Kingdom. 3. GROWING TOGETHER IN CHRIST We believe a life of spiritual multiplication and the passionate pursuit of a Christ-centered life to be the normal expectation of every believer.   OUR OBJECTIVES Our objectives were developed to reflect our Core Values as we carry out our Mission to support our Vision. 1. PROMOTE AN INTENTIONAL ATMOSPHERE OF JOYFUL, AUTHENTIC, GOD-CENTERED WORSHIP. Since the music ministry is central to our worship experience, our primary focus is to seek God in calling a Worship Pastor. To that end we have selected an Interim Music Minister to serve while the active selection process proceeds. As we pray for His guidance we are confident that God will provide the person that he wants to lead this ministry. 2. PROMOTE A CULTURE OF PRAYER AND DEPENDENCE OF GOD. Our church is committed to continuously integrating prayer into every aspect of our ministry. Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call to Me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” We humbly realize our dependence upon the Lord and seek His wisdom in all that we do. We strive to make Five Forks Baptist a house of prayer. We want it to be part of our culture every minute of every day, not only in the Worship Center, but in every ministry and activity throughout our campus. 3. PROMOTE A CULTURE OF EVANGELISM AND OUTREACH. Church leadership will model a passion for evangelism and outreach – they long for the church to be committed to sharing the gospel with the community as part of an ongoing way of life. We pray for outreach and evangelistic opportunities and will make sure to exhibit the gospel in all that we do in church and fellowship. Jesus said in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” To that end, we will teach and train the congregation to know and love the gospel message, live it every day, and share it at every opportunity. When someone does come to faith, there is great rejoicing knowing that the culture of evangelism is bearing fruit. 4. PROMOTE A CULTURE OF CARING FOR OTHERS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE CHURCH. The Bible says, “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms” (1 Peter 4:10). We at Five Forks Baptist commit to creating this culture of caring by using our God given gifts, talents and abilities for the benefit of others, inside and outside our church. We will emphasize our care ministries, as well as our one-on-one outreach with the love of Christ. Caring, godly relationships among believers are at the heart of God’s purpose for the church. We can care for more people by learning how to encourage others to draw closer to Jesus and love our neighbors. 5. PROMOTE A CULTURE OF MAKING PASSIONATE DISCIPLES OF JESUS. Any church that follows Jesus has been given a single commission and that is to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). Five Forks Baptist is passionate about this mission. We will teach congregants how to be disciples and how to be intentional about discipleship – true disciples will make other disciples. Connecting new believers into discipleship will be deliberate and prayerfully led. 6. PROVIDE SPIRIT-LED ADMINISTRATION OF ALL THE CHURCH’S BUSINESS MATTERS. Prudent administration of a growing church is critical for doing effective ministry. We understand that the church must be run like an efficient organization. While the church is established by God and left to serve this community, it still must be organized in order to be completely effective and maintain integrity. We will always seek the Lord’s guidance in the administration of all the church’s complex business.

We are a church of Christ patterned after the New Testament example of local churches.  We believe in the authoritative word of God and will provide a Bible answer for everything we do in doctrine and practice. We exalt Jesus Christ and seek to glorify Him, not ourselves (Ephesians 3:21). Therefore, our efforts are directed toward promoting commitment to Christ, not to any man or institution (1 Corinthians 2:5). Our assemblies are simple.  We pray (1 Timothy 2:1).  We sing without the use of instruments (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16).  We partake of the Lord's Supper using unleavened bread and fruit of the vine each first day of the week (1 Corinthians 11:23-29; Acts 20:7),  And, we teach from God's word.  All preaching and teaching comes from the Bible.  We would be happy to study any of these things with you if you wonder why we worship the way we do. The financial support of this congregation comes from the free-will offerings of its members made on the first day of the week (1 Corinthians 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians 8:1-5; 9:6-7). We do not solicit gifts from those who are not members. Contributions are used for the spiritual growth of this church and for the support of men who are preaching the gospel in other areas, such as the Philippines. We do not use money collected here for social programs or the support of any human institution. We believe the church can do all of the work God has given it to do: teach the gospel, build up the members, and help needy Christians. All other "good works" are the responsibility of individual Christians (Titus 2:11-14; James 1:27; Galatians 6:9-10). We currently have approximately 175 members,  a full time preacher, 3 elders and 9 deacons.  We have approximately 40 children between the ages of 1 month and 18 years of age with classes for all ages. We gather together on Sunday weekly for our Bible study classes at 9:30 am, our morning worship at 10:20 am, and for additional worship at 6:00 pm.  We also meet weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm.  We welcome you to visit with us whenever you are able.
