Have you had days where in a split second everything changes?
Yesterday was that kind of day. I'm at that stage of life where my Mom is almost 90 and, when a fall happens, the outcome isn't so good. Yes, she's in hospital and yes, it was a rollercoaster day.
It wasn't close to what I had planned, but all plans were cancelled immediately.
How do you respond in situations like this? Are you able to maintain your peace even in the midst of stress, emotion and uncertainty?
Yes, I had weepy moments, but I maintained my peace. It's possible - I've walked with God for 37 years and relationship...KNOWING Him, makes all the difference.

Heather God will always be with you and so will your mother as you hold her in your heart she will be part of you always , i felt this my self when my mother passed she was still young to this day i know she is with my lord JESUS amen as Jesus is with all who believe in him

Thank you Colin, yes you are correct. My Mom is in hospital and very ill but not deemed palliative. I do not believe she has long, but only God knows the days ordained for her.
