I've had my phone for over 3 years and my daughter has tried to get me to upgrade, but I don't see any reason to get rid of a perfectly good cell phone just to get the latest bells and whistles of a new one. I like the size of my phone. It has a larger screen than the new phones in that line. I also have a phone case and extra screen protectors for it and I have a faux leather belt loop phone holder for it. The only issue I've had with it is that it recently began turning itself off and giving me a weird message that the batter was disconnected, so the phone was turning off, which, if you think about it, is a strange message, because if the battery had been disconnected, the phone would have died immediately. I bought a new battery for it and so far things seem to be working out fine. The new battery fit a little more snugly, so I'm assuming that the original battery may have slightly shrunk after so many hundreds (if not thousands) of charges.
I woke up in the morning yesterday to find that my phone was turned off, so I assumed it happened again. I then realized that I might have just turned the phone off to charge the battery faster and then just fell asleep while waiting for it to fully charge. So... I'm waiting to see if the issue crops up again. If not, then all I needed was a new battery. If it does happen again, then I guess I'll get myself a new phone. I've already done all the research on the phones offered by my carrier, so I know which phone I'll be getting if I DO need a new one. It will be the fourth iteration of the same phone I have now. I have the original and the one I decided to purchase (if I need to) is the fourth generation in the series. That shows you how long I've had this phone and how well I take care of
